Such a beautiful interpretation of the ying and the yang, the dark and the light, sadness and happiness. One cannot exists without the other. This is a song about the dark and cold winters up in Québec, where I grew up. Yes, everything is freezing outside, days are short, but it only makes the warmth of our homes even more compelling. A place where we can gather with someone special and cozy up.
The verses are dark and cold, but the chorus is bright and warm. The contrast between these two amplify their beauty.
